What size are the plots?
They are a standard size of 18m x 6m, with water supply (tap),
separated by chestnut fencing.
How much will it cost me?
First year £295.00, and £220.00 per year thereafter
Can I put a shed on my plot?
Yes, however we ask that all sheds get approval before erection.
Can I barbeque/cook on my plot?
Yes, we want to encourage all of our plot holders to cook
and eat their produce on-site and also build up a community
atmosphere. Maurice stated, "By barbequing the food on-site,
not only can the allotment holders enjoy the fresh air and
views, they can also turn unhealthy and expensive food miles
into cost efficient and healthy food metres."
What can I grow on my plot?
You can grow anything from vegetables to flowers, but there
are certain restrictions on trees.
How do I learn about growing?
Maurice has a lifetime of knowledge and experience and will
be only too happy to assist you at any time; we give each
new plot owner a free hard-back copy of "THE ALLOTMENT
BOOK" (r.r.p £17.99 ) and other tenants are more
than happy to share first-hand experiences.
